Cambiemos va con una carta fuerte a competir con el tradicional MPN (Movimiento Popular Neuquino) y la ficha que ponga en juego el Cristinismo. Para esto el candidato natural es el filo radical, intendente neuquino Horacio “Pechi” Quiroga.
Quiroga, de buena llegada al presidente a través del Coti Nosiglia, pondrá a prueba una fórmula en conjunto con un líder evangelista, algo que en muchos nichos electorales logra arrastrar importante masa de votos.

Pechi es un convencido que Vaca Muerta será la nave de despegue de la crisis argentina. Sobre esa base y la de adecuar el mercado de trabajo público y privado a las nuevas necesidades se recostara su campaña. Cuenta con la ventaja que el tradicional y hegemónico MPN está atravesando una fuerte interna.
Neuquén está en las primeras fechas de los rounds electorales anticipatorios a octubre. El próximo 10 de marzo elegirá gobernador. En tanto, el Cristinismo irá en alianza con el intendente de Cutral Có, el ex piquetero Ramón Rioseco. CUenta con el patrocinio de Juan Grabois. Representa una amenaza para las empresas que concentran el negocio de Vaca Muerta.
